Community Development

INUWA International Founder Laila Moen joined young leaders at the Civic Youth Forum 2026 in Copenhagen, contributing perspectives on human rights, peace, health, education, accountable leadership and meaningful youth participation.

INUWA International believes lasting change goes beyond temporary assistance. A handout may respond to an immediate need, but a hand up creates opportunity, dignity and independence. Through skills, livelihoods and community empowerment, we help people build sustainable futures and become active drivers of their own development.

Day 2 of the INUWA Uganda Community & Youth Empowerment Programme focused on programme implementation, teamwork and learning from local experience, including insights from HIV activist Barbara Kemigisa and her community work in Hoima, Uganda.
